I have a 1996 chevy 1500 single cab and i am wondering what size the map light bulb is. i know the dome light is a 211, but i need to know what size the map light bulbs are because i want to switch them over to led. plz help!

I replaced mine with red l.e.d.s. LOve them. Got the idea from the fire truck. Doesn`t dilate the eyes. But i`ll check my old ones when I get home if no one can tell you sooner. I`ll be home tommarrow morning. I`m at the station tonight.

i pulled the bulb out and checked. i cant figure out what it is. it has loops on the ends of the bulbs tho that hook over 2 metal prongs in the fixture

its not a 194. i know what a 194 looks like cuz a 194 is a wedge bulb. this one looks like a 211 but its not its got a loop on each end that hooks over a metal contact.
