Engine Light Came On PO449 Error Code

Its been a while since I posted, but I could really use some help. My truck sits a lot lately, I am trying to keep the miles down. I took it out the other day, no problems. Parked it went shopping and came back out and the engine light came on and stayed on. I wen to Advanced Auto and had them check the code. It came up:

PO449 Evap Emission Control System vent/vlv sol malf

What is everyone thoughts? The truck seems to run fine. I had them clear the code and it came right back on. I have not recently put gas in it, so the gas cap was on tight (which I checked anyway). I am hoping this will be an easy and especially cheap fix.

Please help.

I will try that first, that would be cheap enough. lol. I read some things about charcoal filters and new tubing, and $250+. so i hope this works.
