I have a 2003 LS C1500. I just purchased the vehicle so I`m still learning its faults. On the drivers door switches I can control all the passengers door components like window, door lock/unlock and electric mirror. The problem is I can`t control the driver door components with the switches on the driver door. The window won`t function the mirror wont` function and the door lock/unlock won`t function even on the remote entry the driver door lock won`t funtiononly the passenger door will unlock/lock. Any suggestions will be of great service. Thanks! Dallas

Faulty door module. I had one on my 03. I replaced the module and everything was good in the world.

Thanks for the reply. Where would the drivers door module be located. Is it in the door or under the dash.

I called up the local dealership and got price of $143.00. Went on Ebay and they were going for $20. If I buy the one off of Ebay would it have to be "flashed" at the dealership? Iguess it`s better to bight the bullet and go get it at the dealership. I will post the verdict. Thanks again.

No you don`t have to get it flashed is plug and play very simple to install.

Well guys, I went to the dealership and ordered and received the DDM yesterday. The parts department told me to install it then drive the truck back to the dealership to get it flashed to my model. Well I installed the DDM, very easy(15 min), and it worked. I didn`t have to go back to the dealership for a $70 "flash". Thanks for all the information and good truckin!
