I`m north and plow with my truck. The stock tires won`t make it in the winter. Any suggestions on a good year round tire with bite for the winter? I looked at Goodyear silent armor but at 800.00 they were a bit pricey.

I`ve always been a big fan of BFG`s but decided to try the Cooper Zeon LTZ`s and so far really like them. They have a nice aggressive looking but great road manors.
So far I`ve got 10,000 miles on them, and they still look new.

Michelin LTX M/S or M/S2`s. You should consider these - look into them.

BFG ATs are a good tire. We drive on the frozen lakes and snowy areas with them and they have great traction.

I had Good Year Work Horse Extra Grip that I like on one truck. I tend to like the Firestone/Bridgestone tires right now. The Bridgestone Duravis M724 looks like it would be real good for snow plowing and general use.
