In 2001 I bought my truck from a used car dealer and it remained a stock looking 4x4 for almost a year. In 2002 I lowered it 5"in the rear and 4" in the front and hand hammered and fabricated 18ga. metal ground f/x. In 2003 the f/x came off and side bars were installed. Also 20" rims and tires and a hard tonneau cover with a wing was introduced. 2004 and 2005 the new ground f/x, hood, and roll pan were put on, then an airdam was fabricated to match the f/x. Before I bought my truck it served the state of Vermont as a work vehicle. Now after many changes every year, I think we are approaching the final character of this truck. In 2006 I started to RE-DESIGN the body .... check out the progress in my albums....
The end result after all the changes will hopefully be a very aggresive looking pick-up, street legal, hopefully emissions legal, blown small block. I will keep all the factory extra's; 5 speed stick, 4x4, a/c, cruise, and throw in a couple off show extra's. Some nice neons, LED's, and maybe a couple of strobes will be some of the neat things I will add. It will be fun to drive, handles and stops well, and the most important thing is, it is mine, bought and paid for....
