Hey guys and gals, I don't know if you know but the Arlington Texas Hooters has had their liquor license taken away. The reason behind this is because of a group called the "Partnership of Community Values and a super conservative State Rep. They are claiming that Hooters brings sexual preditors and that the "hooters girl uniform and the sale of beer makes a VOLATILE COCKTAIL".
Now anybody who has been to a Hooters knows that is not the case. I am not a sexual preditor, nor is my dad or my sister. I know that when I look around I see families. ON top of all that there is about 20 places that have there liquor license within the area.

This went around work last week!. I work in Arlington (Bowen & I-20). This is a bunch of CRAP!! They are picking on this one Hooters when the Cheerleaders of thier on schools have scimpier(sp) out-fits!!
I already wrote the e-mails and got the usual B/S reply back from these City Council Gerbils. Hope the let them Stay and sell beer to ME!!!...JohnB

You'll find that most people that are against Hooter's have never given it a shot.

I had an Ex-gf - she hated Hooter's without ever going. She went once with her family and now she loves the place....

Same gf - Is insulted that I have Playboy magazine in my apartment. I actually do read the articles, the photos aren't a bad bonus.....

Same gf - Dislikes firearms, she has never shot anything other than a bb gun, which she likes....

Go Figure! Ignorance is what people thrive on. I wish sometimes that I could be oblivious to the way the world works so I wouldn't have to worry so much, but it aint' happened

Thats crap. Why dont stripper bars have theirs taken away? They wear much less then the girls at hooters. I dont go to that hooters much anyways but still, thats total crap.
